Media personality Sheilah Gashumba has come public and announced break up with singer Rickman Manrick.
For starters, Sheilah Gashumba and Rickman have been sharing the same bedsheets since 2020. The former started a romantic relationship with the latter after her break up with renowned socialite Ali Marcus Lwanga, also known as God's Plan.
However, right from the start, their relationship encountered countless criticisms from social media in-laws and above all from Sheilah Gashumba's father.
On several occassions, Frank Gashumba has been seen expressing his disappointment with Sheilah for dating a man like Rickman.
For instance in January 2023, Frank Malimungu Gashumba's audio leaked and he was heard vowing never to accept the singer as his son-in-law. He actually referred to him as a son of the late terrorist Konyi.
He went ahead and poured out all the pain he has been carrying around as his daughter Sheila keeps dating and sleeping with disgusting men.
Even this week, Frank Gashumba boldly stood in front of Sanyuka TV's camera and stated that he doesn't recognize Rickman as his daughter's boyfriend.
Despite all the ups and downs, they persevered through it all and managed to stick together through the years until today that Sheilah Gashumba announced their separation.
In a statement released via her X handle, Sheilah Gashumba revealed how her relationship with Rickman had hit an end.
She noted that it is a mutual decision that has taken much reflection and consideration.

After much reflection and thoughtful consideration, Rickman Manrick and I have mutually decided to part ways. While this decision may come as a shock to some of you, we would like to assure you that it was reached with respect and understanding for each other’s paths. Our relationship has been a journey filled with love, laughter, and growth, and we are immensely grateful for the experiences we shared together," part of her statement read.
Sheilah emphasized being single and how she will henceforth navigate the next chapter of her life on her own, focusing on personal growth, career aspirations, and friendships.
As I navigate this new chapter of my life, I would like to emphasize that I am single and not actively seeking a new relationship at the moment. My focus now is personal growth, career aspirations, and nurturing the friendships and connections that mean so much to me. I appreciate the understanding and support of our fans and followers during this time of transition. We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter in our lives", Sheilah Gashumba further wrote.
