Top rated Ugandan coffee shop and restaurant, Café Javàs has remained firm, image wise after the events of last week.
Last week on Tuesday, a certain city slay Queen after sipping her milkshake to the bottom was in for a nasty suprise when she landed on a dead rat at the end of the drink.
The rodent which looked pretty dead had obviously drowned in the several millilitres of cold milkshake but the reaction from the slay queen was rather calm according to the video she uploaded onto the Internet.
Many people expected her to either vomit or atleast say 'yuck' naye nga waaa, it looks like she had just enjoyed the rat-shake and simply made slight noise in protest.
What did Café Javàs do about it
The highly rated coffee shop and restaurant privately contacted the customer after learning of the viral video showing the dead rodent all over social media.
It made further investigations by reviewing CCTV footage of that fateful Tuesday afternoon around the time the city slay Queen had ordered her milkshake.
This is when the management of the shop decided to nullify the customer's claims saying that she had no idea of what she was talking about and that her accusations were false
The city cafe further indicated that the customer was using malicious black mail in order to down their image so as to make their business fail.

How did the customer take the findings
The female customer who was shocked to the core could not believe and therefore threatened to release another video showing her own version of events if Café Javàs doesn't tell people the truth.
Sources say the customer was also in touch with her lawyers and that anytime they would descend on Javàs if she is not compensated financially in other words, "given some money" to keep her mouth shut.
So Café Javàs and the slay Queen, who is lying
Too bad the main actor of this movie (Jerry aka the rat) died so we don't have a suspect to tell us what actually happened and now we are left to rely on CCTV cameras.
In the CCTV footage released by Javàs on Friday, it is seen how the milkshake is prepared freshly for the customer using a blender machine.
The entire process which I will not go deep into was clear in the footage and many people confessed how hard it would be for a rat to escape the sharp blades of the blender.
Canary Mugume, an NBS TV journalist had this to say after watching the CCTV footage
It’s a miracle that the rat’s head wasn’t blended
Many people like him also agreed saying that atleast we should have seen a blended rat with blood allover if at all it came from Café Javàs.
However, others still expressed doubt over the validity of the video footage saying it could have been edited by the IT team at the coffee shop before releasing it to the public thus clearing evidence of any rat.
Although people didn't come out clearly to show support for the complaining customer, they showed it in silence especially those that had never been to the Café using this as a chance to dis their friends who normally go there.
Café Javàs image left Unshaken
Rat or not, the loyal customers of the city cafe vowed to eat each and everything from it saying that the quality of food offered over there is unmatched in comparison with other restaurants around town
Some loyal customers went ahead to say they would be ready to eat live rats that are prepared from Javàs because they would be obviously delicious.
But the new customers are likely to be skeptical while attempting to eat out at the Café that is if they ever got to know of the rat story.
