Musician Carol Nantongo has been on the spotlight over the allegations hat she dropped out of musician Eddy Kenzo's Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) because of her banters with fellow female songstress Lydia Jazmine.
According to rumor, The three have been rumored to be involved with each other in a love triangle, something that they have unceasingly denied. Having come out to state that she and Kenzo are just friends and nothing more, Carol Nantongo also stated that she is no longer at logger heads with songstress Lydia Jazmine.
She has further stated that the rumors that have been circulating in various media houses about her, Jazmine and Kenzo have not made her very happy but she will not cut people out of her life simply because a few individuals have come up with baseless rumors.
During an exclusive interview with Spark TV, she also cleared the air about the rumor that she is no longer part of UNMF. She stated that she is still part of the Uganda National Musicians Federation and nothing will make her quit the group.
“Yes, I’m still in the federation. How many men will you claim I love? Kenzo is my friend like all the other artists you see me with. We do not have any relationship beyond friendship between us. The allegations did not please me at all as some of the things that were said were false but they did not have a big impact on my life.” She said
