Catherine Kusasira Confirms She Bought Her Mpenkoni Car Using her Own Money
    • July 5, 2021 • 4 years ago

Time and again, presidential advisor, Catherine Kusasira has been accused of siphoning money from the ruling government for her own personal benefit.

Even the luxurious Mpenkoni Landcruiser V8 car which she has been cruising for over a year now has been tagged to be a gift from the ruling government's head, president Museveni

But in a recent interview, the presidential advisor has said she bought the car using her personal savings which she obtained through her hard work and that she ordered for it straight from Japan.

Kusasira stated that she has worked over the years for her own money through her music and her beauty products and therefore can afford to buy any type of car she wants.

How Ugandans Think Catherine Bought Her Car

It all started from Catherine's musical concert dubbed "Tears of a Woman" which took place in September 2019 at Serena Hotel in Kampala.

The event was attended by various government officials such as president Museveni who later gave Cathy a big fat brown envelope towards the end of the show.

So it is because of this brown envelope that many people started to think the car Catherine bought a few months later was as a result of this money.

Other rumours indicated that Kusasira alongside singer Bebe Cool who frequented the state House in that year (2019) were all given the same type of car as a token for supporting the ruling government.
