Finally prayers of two titans Bebecool and Chemeleone have been answered as it has been confirmed by Mariam ‘Biggie’ Mutabukwa of Biggie Events that she will be the probable organizer of the clash between two music titans.
Biggie Mutabukwa while appearing on an exclusive TV interview bluntly manifested her interest and capability as the only ugandan promoter who can handle the battle between two titans.
“I think I am the only one who can handle that battle because the amount of pay asked by both artistes is exorbitant,” she noted on Friday.
“They said they want Shs 2billion each… I believe I can get the money with help from the sponsors. I will also do my part as well,” said the promoter.
According to Mutabukwa discussions are already in progress between her and the two artistes both Bebe Cool and Chameleone have asked for a whopping Shs.2 billion each, an amount Biggie strongly believes she can pick up if she was to land on the right sponsors for this big battle.
Mutabukwa is relatively new in the music promotion industry but carries alot of confidence & resilience, with Gwanga Mujje by Loene Island boss being her first major concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval at the start of 2023 (February).
Despite her hard work, there are reports that she works direct with the government and thats how she been able to grow so fast in promotion industry and the other being that Chameleone-Bebe Cool battle was first proposed by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa.
Mutabukwa however also dismisses these claims of her working with a shadowy hand in Government.
“It is not that every hard-working person is being helped by the government. Sometimes it is just an individual effort; some of us take up big loans and use other means to be able to do great things but we never tell you about that,” she said.
Although Bigie dimisses working with government, she still claims she wouldn't refuse any support from the government to organize the music battle, actually she would be more than happy to.
