In what I can authentically call the last ever concert in Uganda, Cindy's Boom party concert is still making her smile up to today.
The female Ugandan songstress last year threw us the biggest concert of the year 2020 shortly before everything turned into Covid.
The concert dubbed, "Boom Party Concert" which was highly abandoned by promoters and sponsors made big headlines after it got very high attendance from the general public.
Just a few days ago, Cindy remembered how good the concert was and she revealed how it saved her from a possible car wash.
She said, if it hadn't been for her lovely fans that were there for her, she would be as poor as a Church rat and that the only thing left would be to organise a car wash for her in order to get some food to eat.

Before the concert, Ugandans didn't believe in Cindy
Weeks before the concert took place in March last year, Cindy Sanyu who was preparing for it was abandoned by almost all promoters and sponsors that usually sponsor musical concerts in this country.
She said that all the popular promoters told her the show at the giant Lugogo Cricket stadium would flop beyond recognition and that she was not good enough to dream about filling such a massive venue.
In addition to that, they told the singer that the days were closing in and she had so-far poorly marketed the show with very few ads running on TV and radio.
As the weeks drew closer, some sponsors came by and offered Cindy some cushion such as Uganda Breweries Limited through its Tusker Beer that offered to sponsor part of her show just days before the D-day.
On that fateful Saturday, Cindy who was in tears couldn't thank her fans enough for coming in huge numbers with many being in the queues to the concert way before 6pm.
Beyond 6pm, one had to even bribe their way through security to get a chance of entering the Lugogo Cricket Oval to catch a glimpse of the Boom Party hit maker.
What made Cindy's concert a success
Despite all the bad luck that was hovering around Cindy's concert plans, her concert was a success and some of the following reasons surely contributed.
Boom Party at that time was one of the biggest songs in the country competing with Eddy Kenzo's Tweyagale.
Another reason is her live performances that's party goers rated highly when you look at all the small gigs she was performing at then.
So on that night, Cindy broke the record of the first and only female Ugandan musician to ever hold a successful fully packed show at the gigantic Lugogo Cricket Oval, the most feared venue to stage a concert in Uganda.
