We all know the music industry and what exactly it is made of right? Every now and then, a musician can release a song while poking another musician that they could be involved in a beef with.
The beef between musicians Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu has been ongoing for a while now. Even their fans are divided between who of the two is actually better than the other musically. Well, they recently held a battle of music where they went into a showdown of who is musically better than the other.
Even when Cindy Sanyu was crowned, it does not seem like this was enough to close the debate of who is a better musician than the other. Right after the battle, Cindy Sanyu called out Sheebah, stating that she is not talented and this was evident during their battle. This is when Sheebah Karungi admitted while talking to fellow musician Crysto Panda in an interview with NRG Radio that Cindy uses her name to gain relevance and if she does not speak of Sheebah, she could easily fade.
Now the newest debate around the internet has come up after Sheebah Karungi collaborated with Yung Mulo on a hit dubbed ‘Sipimika'. In a certain verse, Sheebah mentions ‘Ebirungo' in her diss verse. This has been received by netizens as a jab to her nemesis. With some mentioning that she was hitting at Spice Diana being that Spice is loosely translated to ‘ebirungo', others have come out to say it was directed towards Cindy who sung ‘nina ebirungo' in her song dubbed Boom Party.
After the release of ‘Sipimika', Netizens have been impatiently waiting for a response from either Cindy Sanyu or Spice Diana regarding the diss in this new song. Cindy Sanyu has finally responded to these claims from netizens. In an interview, Cindy Sanyu was asked about her view concerning the song and if she believes the diss was meant for her.
Cindy however stated that when she listened to the song, she did not even hear her name being mentioned and she did not even hear anything that leads to her name. She therefore stated that she doesn’t think that Sheebah was pocking at her. Cindy stated that she believes it’s just netizens that are trying to interpret the message of the song in a way that fits their desire. She stated that people just want to see her in constant beef with Sheebah Karungi.
“I did not hear my name when I listened to the song. I did not even hear anything about me being mentioned in that song. It is all just a speculation by netizens. They have interpreted the some the way they wanted to hear it.” Said Cindy.
