Whereas it could look like people are doing alright via social media, always keep in mind that looks could be deceiving. While everyone believed that a famous musician like Lillian Mbabazi was living the best of her life, she was clearly not contrary to what her fans believed.
Early last week, Singer Lillian Mbabazi's fans were left in shock after she was on the spotlight over her accumulated debt of 16.2 Million which was overdue of her rent for her current residence. According to intel, she was soon being thrown out of the house because she was unable to pay the rent in time and the debt just kept on accumulating.
With this revelation, while journalists were having a field day there are people that actually offered to come out and help Mbabazi out of this tricky situation. One lady known as Jalia Walda, a Ugandan business woman based in the United States of America came out and sympathized with Lillian Mbabazi, saying she is a single mother trying to raise her kids so as a fellow woman, she would pay these bills for Lillian Mbabazi.
Unfortunately however, it seems like days have passed and there is still no news of this particular promise. This has prompted a few people to point at the Musician's Federation, saying this is the time that would be most appropriate for them to take action as this is the biggest reason why the Federation and the Association exist, to bail musicians out of tough situations.
Well, many have even turned to Lillian Mbabazi's close friends Jackie Chandiru and Cindy Sanyu who were in the same girl group with her, criticizing them for being in position to help but not being of any help to the single mother. Cindy Sanyu has therefore come out and disclosed her intentions to help fellow singer, Lillian Mbabazi during her time of need.
While addressing concerns about why their group, Blue*3, hadn't yet intervened, Cindy clarified that while they have plans to assist, she first reached out to Eddy Kenzo and he assured her that efforts are in the pipeline from the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) to assist Lillian.
Cindy also added that Lillian is currently doing okay and whereas they have plans of assisting her, they need to first let the Federation do its duties before stepping in individually. She also stated that they wouldn't like to just impose on her if she doesnt need them to.
"Lillian is surrounded by capable people. We talked to Eddy Kenzo and he said that they are doing their best to help her. We would not like to impose on her when she does not need us to.” she stated in an interview with a you tuber.
