With the summer transfer window under way, teams across Europe are already making big moves to improve their current squads. This is because the 2024 Euros are to affect the time in which transfers are to be carried out.
Kylian Mbappe's exit from PSG on a free transfer is likely to be the biggest move this summer with the French superstar understood to be in talks with Laliga champions Real Madrid, though this move is yet to be confirmed. Kylian Mbappe won five Ligue 1 titles and has scored 255 goals in 355 games for PSG and is set to make his final appearance for the Ligue 1 champions this weekend.
Arsenal were also linked to Kylian Mbappe but later on set their sights on Newcastle star Alexander Isak. The Swedish striker has scored 24 goals in 38 matches for Newcastle this season and their is no doubt Mikel Arteta would want him to replace Gabriel Jesus who may leave Arsenal this summer. However, Newcastle are not willing to sell Alexander Isak.
Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood may leave Old Trafford this summer. It is unclear whether he is going permanently or on loan. Mason Greenwood has played 32 matches in which he has scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists for Getafe so far this season. Getafe are keen to acquire the services of Mason Greenwood next season but its been reported other Spanish clubs like Barcelona and teams in Saudi Arabia have picked interest in the forward.
Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison is wanted by Saudi Pro league side Al-Hilal. It is reported that the team made enquiries about Richarlison in January after Neymar's season-ending knee injury. Richarlison is currently out with a calf injury and won't feature at the Copa America with Brazil.
Erik Ten Hag is willing to try his luck one more time to sign midfielder Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona. The Dutchman snubbed a reunion with Ten Hag back in 2022 and was linked again last year.
German side Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in Brighton star Pascal Gross. He has scored 30 goals and provided 45 assists since joining Brighton in 2017. Frankfurt would be expected to pay around £4million.
