It is no secret that Alex Muhangi is one of the few people who makes an effort to lend a helping hand to anyone that is in need of it. With his fame and his show dubbed “comedy store', he has been seen pulling up people and giving then opportunities on his show. This is majorly he reason why he has earned himself the title of ‘kind man'.
Recently however, Alex faced some challenges as he was involved in a struggle with the Uganda Revenue Authority as he is at the verge of losing the Comedy store due to high taxes. He was even forced to shift from UMA show ground to Lazio bar and it seems like he is on the verge of losing the fit.
Comedian Patrick ‘Salvado’ Idringi has however come out and expressed discontent with Ugandan artists as he branded them selfish and shameless for not showing support and loyalty to Alex Muhangi during the period he is battling with the Uganda Revenue Authority.
Patrick Salvado went on and stressed how Alex Muhangi has been giving a platform to artists every week by performing at the Comedy Store but the artists have not stood with him when he needs them the most. He mentioned that they have shamelessly kept silent yet Alex gave them an opportunity to earn money via the Comedy Store.
According to Patrick, the musicians who perform at Alex Muhangi’s Comedy Store are paid huge sums of cash between Shs 4 to 6 million plus the tax that URA imposes on them.
Patrick has therefore mentioned that they should not turn a blind eye to Alex since if he loses the Comedy store, they are also losing out on the money they earn from the show. He therefore called out Eddy Kenzo and UNMF members to show support to Alex Muhangi.
