Talk about loving behind closed doors! It seems like Galaxy FM DJ Nimrod has been harboring romantic feelings towards the pencil thin influencer Sheila Gashumba and he saw it fit to let the cat out of the bag live on air with Gashumba herself on set. On Thursday the NBS After 5 crew ,Sheila Gashumba, DJ Roja, Douglas Lwanga, MC Kats and DJ Mercy invited Nimrod Nabeeta to their show.
The whole point of the invitation was for him to clarify why he thinks DJ Lito didn't deserve an AFRIMA award but he decided to give the audience an extra piece of information that was quite uncalled for. DJ Nimrod, is among those who believe DJ Lito didn't deserve the award. He went ahead to claim that in order to win the award, DJ Lito only campaigned hard.
Sheila Gashumba went ahead to ask him which Deejays he had in mind that deserved the nomination, asking whether he himself believed himself worthy of nomination. DJ Nimrod was quick to respond that he would of course love to be nominated because after all, who would not want such a huge title attributed to them. He asked if anyone would ever reject a piece of cake once it was offered to them.
"Who does not want to eat cake?" asked DJ Nimrod.
Sheila laughed so hard at this and in the moment, DJ Nimrod decided to drop the bomb, exposing his long kept feelings for the tiny influencer. He went ahead to mention that being nominated for the AFRIMAS would be like being given a chance to date Sheila Gashumba because everyone is dying to have a chance with her.
Because, Douglas, it is like asking me if I don't want to date Sheilah, who does not want to date Sheilah?" He asked Douglas Lwanga.
Lwanga laughed so hard at this as he mentioned that he had no interest in dating Sheila because she is more of a sister to him. Sheila however was quick to get off the topic and she went on with the interview, asking him if he was just jealous of DJ Lito or he really meant what he was saying.
"No, everyone deserves a win, and that's why I said congratulations to him, but question is, how are you winning this? There are so many Ugandan deejays who do events, who have been to concerts and things like that. Personally, I've not known Lito for even a year." He responded.
