Famous musician, songwriter, and producer Daddy Andre seems to have provoked war with fellow producer Artin Pro after labeling him a DJ disguised as a producer.
Artin Pro is one of the most prominent and legendary Producers that many big name artists have always worked with. He has worked with musicians like Fik Fameica, Rickman Manrick, Sheebah Karungi, Lydia Jazmine and many more. He is undeniably one of the people's favorite producer and all the musicians that have worked with him have had their songs come out as hit songs.
Daddy Andre on the other hand has also made his mark on the music production scene. He was a musician before venturing into music production. Honestly, Daddy Andre has always held himself in high regard. He has always emphasized that his singing is driven by passion and a desire to show his exceptional abilities but he is not after money.
Daddy Andre believes his beat making is more of a gift and his love for music and creation has always driven him to create the best beats for every artist that has worked with him. He has worked with musicians like Angella Katatumba, Nina Roz, Lydia Jazmine, Spice Diana, John Blaq and many others on top of producing his own music.
In an interview during Galaxy TV’s Evening Rush Reloaded show, Daddy Andre was tasked to mention the top five producers within this industry. He was told to choose the ones that he thought were most talented. The first on his list who came out as unquestionable was Nessim. The shock was not with the producers he crowned however but with the diss that he tossed towards Artin Pro when asked whether he did not make his list.
The Producer who is known for changing his women as fast as he changes his beats did not bat an eye as he mentioned that he was dissatisfied with Artin Pro’s work. Well, this is just his opinion so it would not be an offense. The offense however was stating that Artin Pro is just a DJ disguised as a Producer.
He further mentioned that Artin Pro is not original with his work but rather he mixes sounds like a DJ. Andre further stated that Artin lacks creativity so he can not really make beats but he just plays around with already existent ones.
“I have my best Ugandan Producers, but Artin Pro is not one of them. He sounds more like a DJ than a producer. I don’t find the music he has produced good at all. It lacks originality because he does not have creativity.” Daddy Andre said.
