Diamond Platinumz and fellow musician Zuchu have always been on and off in regards to their relationship. They are always on a make up and break up spree, something that no longer shocks netizens as they are used to seeing the pair breaking up and reconciling almost immediately.
Well, this time it seemed real when Zuchu came out and mentioned that she is respectfully letting her sweetheart go as she is fed up of being understanding and trying to make things work despite the fact that she is never appreciated for it.
Zuchu went on to state that she felt like Love is meant to be respect but yet she was not getting that at all so she decided to walk away, wishing Diamond and his entire family well despite their separation. She however shocked netizens when she said she would still conduct work with Diamond because he is still her handler and she is under his label.
Zuchu insinuated that the relationship they were to share going forward would be professional and nothing else so as not to affect anyone’s career. As soon as news of the break up travelled, Diamond was quick to post on his social media, asking his fans for support as he was going through a tough time with a harsh break up.
“Family as you can see, am going through a very tough time as I feel like I am sinking in deep water. I need your support, I need courage and I need strength as I endure this path.” He posted.
However, fans were mortified when they saw the pair coming on stage together to perform for revelers, looking like there was no break up between them. In an event by Zuchu in her hometown Zanzibar, Diamond made a calculated surprise appearance on stage, and they did an electrifying performance on their collabo dubbed “Mtasubiri”
As if that was not enough, Diamond shocked revelers when he fell on his knees, begging Zuchu to forgive him just this once and go back to him. He begged for forgiveness, stating his faults about how he was disrespectful to their relationship but now wishes to correct the errors and win her favor once more.
A very emotional and tearful Zuchu accepted the apology amidst cheers from their fans, with Diamond promising to do better. A section of fans however is not convinced with all this, saying that these two were just in cahoots to promote the Show that Zuchu had set up.
According to them, this counts as pitiful lobbying to make fans turn up, with curiosity of whether Zuchu would be able to perform on stage with the same Diamond Platinumz she just broke up with.
