You have probably downloaded a song off his website and most songs end with the words "Remember where you got it from, at Dj Erycom"
Well, Dj Erycom has come out to blast Ugandan artists who have accused him of stealing their music, posting on his website and not paying them for their work.
This is just days after A Pass demanded for websites such as Dj Erycom's to delete and stop stealing his music
Many believe DJ's harsh words are meant for A Pass saying he thinks he is such a big artist yet he isn't.
"Some of you, your songs don't even earn me money on the website. You find your song has only 200 downloads and you are crying saying you need to be paid. Why should you be paid?" He mentioned.
" There are songs out there with 15 million listens and downloads but you won't see them make so much noise."
The famous Dj also added that musicians should thank him for marketing their songs to the rest of the world since he has worked/ played music in clubs across Europe.
" If you want to be paid, sign contracts with Spotify or Tidal. I however want to assure you I am a bigger brand than those apps and will make your songs more popular."
Musicians at large are yet to respond while some like A Pass, Ykee Benda and Juliana Kanyomonzi don't care and simply want their music off those websites
