The verbal war between singer Eddy Kenzo and radio presenter Mr. Henrie has continued to escalate as Eddy Kenzo has termed Mr. Henrie as a primitive young man who only seeks validation and attention from people online.
Taking you back, Eddy Kenzo and Mr. Henrie’s verbal exchange began when the radio presenter questioned the Federation leader's academic qualifications. According to Mr. Henrie his wonder had always been how educated artists let Kenzo lead them as the president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) yet he is uneducated.
While speaking to the media, Eddy Kenzo noted that Henrie is attacking him to gain cheap popularity and to be relevant in the media. Kenzo further referred to Mr. Henrie as primitive because of his silly beliefs that Kenzo cant lead UNMF.
Kenzo further maintained that he has the required musical knowledge to lead the UNMF.
“That’s primitivity. I have managed to do music and earn a lot of money from it, and also change the lives of others. The moment you succeed in what you do, you have to know it. Knowing is knowledge and I’m knowledgeable when it comes to music. There is nothing he can do about it.” Eddy Kenzo.
Amidst anger, Kenzo went on to state that he is not entirely illiterate because he been to school and he only quit in Senior three so he is therefore not uneducated.
