If you passed in Mbarara town ????, located in the Western part of Uganda of recent, you would have thought that place is not in Uganda.
This is because, the way activities have been going on, it's as if no one knows about the lockdown measures the president of Uganda put in place to fight Corona Virus.
Cars on Monday according to the New Vision were seen in huge numbers moving eveywhere in Mbarara and boda bodas (Motorcycles) were also seen carrying passengers and even many retail shops such as the ones selling clothes were open and this all defied the Presidential directives.
Today, the Uganda police in Mbarara together with other security agencies mounted a thorough operation in the city that caught many people unaware.

Generally targeting cars ????????????, road points like Ntare Road, Buremba-Kakoba and Mbarara round about had road blocks on them to target those that were moving illegally.
