WATCH VIDEO: Grenade sits on a cold floor after being allegedly arrested by security officials in the middle of the night
Recently on Thursday night, photos of a battered, tired and arrested Grenade Official made rounds online. Fans went into a frenzy as they questioned whether that was the real Grenade Official and also wondering whether he was really arrested or it was just a video shoot for a new song or something.
A short video clip of the singer looking very dusty and disorganized also was seen circulating on social media. In the video, Grenade was shirtless and barefooted, something that confirmed that he could be in jail. In the clip, Grenade was heard uttering insults towards one of the men standing besides him as he was surrounded by security personnel.
According to an unidentified man who claims to have been at the scene of the arrest, the singer was arrested after an arguement with guards at the entrance of an estate in Seguku. The man, while speaking to Bukedde TV narrated that Grenade insulted and abused guards at the entrance of the estates when they asked to check him before he goes in.
Since he was not following protocol, he was hurled away and dragged aside. According to the narration, the LC Chairman of the area was then called by these guards but Grenade failed to calm down and kept hurling insults until his hands were tied and this is when he relaxed a bit.
Rumor has it that the same chairman is the one that commended that the photos of Grenade be taken and circulated online so as to bring him shame because he kept claiming that he is a celebrity and cannot be embarrassed like a nobody.
