Father Anthony Musaala while delivering a sermon yesterday at Rubaga cathedral called out the injustices in the country and prayed for harmony in the ‘new Uganda.’ “A new uganda is not a project of Bobi Wine but for all Ugandans. We need to have a corruption, tribalism free uganda. Let the authoritues free bobi wine and ll the arrested because the new Uganda is already here.”
Father Musaala went ahead to respond to accusations made by some of the ministers who lost their parliamentary seats in the recently concluded elections. According to the ministers, the religious leaders especially catholic, were preaching to their congregation to vote for Kyagulanyi and NUP.
“There’s a minister who asked why religious leaders participate into politics other than concentrating on spreading the gospel. You can’t separate the body from the spirit because if it was like that, we’d be leaving our bodies home while coming to church Let the authoritues free bobi wine and ll the arrested because the new Uganda is already here. Were all part of the struggle .” Responded father Musala.
