Forget the past, we still need more funds. PM Nabbanja tells Ugandans
    • July 5, 2021 • 4 years ago

While the nation gets frustrated and impatient with the promised relief fund of shs. 100,000 from the prime minister Hon. Robbina Nabbanja, she has come out to again call for donations from Ugandans.

While appearing for an interview, Hon. Nabbanja requested Ugandans to forget whatever happened in the past and come on board to help the government in fighting the deadly covid-19 as a whole.

It should be noted that last year during the first lockdown, billions of money and other tangible goods were donated to the covid-19 taskforce to fight covid-19. However, to the disappointment of many, much of this money was mishandled and upto now, accountability has not been released.

With the dire state of many Ugandans, and the worrying health sector coupled with increasing cases of covid-19, who really is supposed to be asking for relief fund?
