Government finds all drastic measures to solve boda boda issues in the Republic of Uganda as its a national security concern. This comes after boda boda riders provoked the government with a lot destructive strikes as they insinuated that they had nothing to do with all the murders that are happening currently.
But following all the proper investigations on Ekalungar's case. Two of the boda cyclists deliberately knocked Ekalungar's vehicle a Toyota Premio registration number UAW 899U adjacent to the ministry of Health headquarters in Wandegeya. Ekalungar reportedly moved out of the vehicle to check on the damage.
Two of the suspects intercepted Ekalungar as he was returning to his vehicle, and dragged him to a waiting Super Custom that was parked nearby. One of the riders took charge of Ekalungar's vehicle and sped off to Kabowa. Ekalungar's body that was burnt beyond recognition was recovered the next day from a bush in Kajansi.
Six of those who were part of the robbery and subsequent killing of Ekalungar are under police custody. Four other suspects are still at large.
