Gravity Omutujju shows off gun in video, leaves netizens in shock.

In Uganda, guns are in the hands of very few people and for one to own a gun, they need to have registered it. The sum that people who have licensed guns pay as revenue for these guns is also not an easy forte, which is the major reason why less people have privately registered guns.

Well, Gravity Omutujju is one of these people who have a gun that is probably registered under his name. While other musicians walk with ‘egaali’, Gravity possesses lots of money and a gun. In a controversial video, Gravity raises the gun saying that he walks with lots of money and a gun. According to him, if anyone dares to touch his money, they walk away with a bullet.

“We walk with mazike(50,000 notes) and guns. You touch the money, you earn yourself a bullet.” Says Gravity Omutujju in this particular video.

Netizens have not received this news well unfortunately as most of them are wondering what a civilian is doing with a gun. It does not help that this is a time of social unrest as people are in constant fear for their lives every single day due to the increased insecurity among citizens.

A few have come out in defense of Gravity, stating that he has the right to keep himself protected, more so now that there is an increase in levels of theft around Kampala, considering that celebrities such as him could be easy targets for these thieves since they are known to carry huge cash around.

Some have argued however that the gun could be stolen from Gravity and be used for crime, something that could not only put the owner of the gun in a predicament but could also contribute to social unrest in Uganda. 

For some people, they argue that a man with Gravity Omutujju's temper should not even be close to a gun because he could be led to do something with it that he could regret for the rest of his life.

It is still not known however if this even be a real gun or whether it is just a fake gun used as a prop for a music video but it has sparked so much debate online as many even wonder whether it is even okay for Gravity to be flaunting the gun around on social media if it really be a real gun.
