Rapper Gravity Omutujju has seen happy days in regards to his music going not only viral but also global.
According to Gravity Omutujju, he has so many achievements but all these achievements are attributed to his music. Many musicians have come out to say that they majorly do music but also have side businesses and most of them do not even live off of simply doing music.
While some have attributed many of their achievements to other businesses like farming and the like, Gravity says every single achievement he has came from his musical success.
When asked about his house during an interview with Sanyuka TV, Gravity Omutujju stated that everyone already knew about the house, only that he made small additions to it here and there. He was asked whether it is meant to be a personal house or a hotel, to which he stated that he would see about that after the house is fully completed and furnished.
According to Gravity, he is not under pressure to finish off his house project considering that he is not even renting. He stated that he could even decide to finish the house construction, sell that house and then construct another house.
“I am not in a rush to finish construction because it’s not like am homeless or am renting. I will see what do about the house after construction is completed. I may even sell it off and construct another house.” He stated
In regards to his song ‘okwepicha' being featured on a global British series called Queenie, Gravity stated that there is no secret to this but rather his resilience in producing music despite the fact that many Ugandans call his music bubble gum and others call it vulgar.
He therefore urged Ugandans to celebrate and be happy with him because it is not just his success alone but it is a success that also includes Uganda as a country.
Gravity further stated that walking the path to success is never easy because it has a lot of ups and downs but getting to the top is always by the grace of God.
“The song did go global. Am glad for that. Ugandans should be happy for me and they should join me in celebrating. This success is not just a personal success but rather it is a success of the Ugandan music industry. Our flag is flying high.” He stated
