For a while now, there has been tension between Alien Skin camp and the Fik Gaza camp. Alien Skin, who is the CEO of Fangone Forest has been heard in a bitter exchange with Fik Gaza. It all started with Alien Skin saying that Fik Gaza is his product after there were very many questions on why their style of music somewhat sounds similar.
In retaliation, Gaza was quick to mention that he is not a product of Alien Skin as he is better than Alien by far. The battle further escalated when a fight erupted between the two camps at the Zzina Awards. Fik then came out to state that he has no issues with Alien Skin but it is their fans that keep on harassing each other.
When Fik Gaza got into an accident, a section of his fans were pointing fingers at Alien Skin, being that the two have a long standing rivalry, something Alien Skin never bothered to respond to. As many artistes have come out to talk about the Fik Gaza and Alien Skin beef, they have continuously urged the two to patch things up and let go of their grudges.
Well, reggae and dancehall musician Henry Tigan has not only suggested a reconciliation between the two but he has also suggested a collabo between them, something he believes would work out quite well.
According to Tigan, he has advised the pair while drawing lessons from his own experience. Tigan states that during his times with Firebase Crew, he also went through such things but they did not yield any good results for his musical journey.
In an interview with BBS Terefayina, the singer emphasized that the era of physical altercations and scuffles is too outdated and should have stopped in the days of Fire base crew and Leone Island. According to Tigan, the current music industry has evolved too much for musicians to be using such old tactics to promote music.
Tigan therefore has advised Alien Skin and Fik Gaza to set aside their differences, make amends, and try using peaceful methods in order to move forward with their music with no damage to them at all.
He went on to suggest a collabo between these two musicians in order to kill the beef between them as a studio session together would do both of them so much good than any physical fight ever would. According to Tigan, a collabo from these two would do well and would become an actual hit song. What are your views on this? Collabo tujifuune oba nedda?
