Dorothy Shonga, the former wife to Mr. Herbert Shonga is in deep trouble in her country of origin Malawi where she stays.
She was arrested this week after a long week of playing hide and seek with the authorities since 24th July when she appeared on a list of wanted persons in Malawi.
Dorothy is being accused of shady business dealings with the Malawian government through its Parastatal body of Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA).
She is said to have dealt with an employee of the parastatal who goes by the names "Collins Magalasi" with whom they formed a private company to defraud the state of funds by awarding their company juicy contracts.
Her ex-husband Herbert might have been lucky in divorcing her earlier this year because he would also have been in trouble for having dealt with her in the shady deals.
Herbert Shonga and Dorothy Shonga's 15-year-relationship came to a halt because of Herbert's infidelity which got to the maximum on the day Dorothy gave birth to their last child in 2019.
It is on this day that Herbert was spotted around Kampala having fun with a one Sasha Brighton a Ugandan female musician popular for her Kawomera song.
