Former prime minister of Uganda Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda yesterday broke the internet with a tweet in which he cleared the air about some ongoing rumors of him having intentions of running for presidency come 2026.
According to Dr. Rugunda despite a clique of some Ugandans seeing him fit for presidency and willing to have his back come 2026, he clearly as day justifies that he has no intentions and no thought of it to contest for the high office Uganda.
Dr. Ruhakana made his crification through his twitter handle as it reads below.
"I have read social media postings and suggestions that I should run for President in 2026. I would like to make it known that I have no such intentions or plans".
Well, it turns out the people on social media wishing the former prime minister the highest office in the land are obviously on onlyTwitter because my oh my! The comments on the tweet say otherwise. As nowviba we managed to get you some of the people's reactions.
