I'll contest again in 2026 - Miles Rwamiti
    • January 30, 2021 • 4 years ago

Miles Rwamiti is one of the entertainment players who participated in the recently concluded national elections but unlike his other counterparts, Rwamiti lost out????.

The former spark TV presenter was running for Hoima district Member of Parliament but collected only 149 votes and while appearing in an interview on spark TV, Rwamiti shared his experience of the election seemed not happy with Ugandans.

“Ugandans are hypocrites and untrustworthy people. They praise you today and trash you tomorrow. Look what they did to Chameleone.

Why would they talk ill about Chameleone who has done great things for the industry? Of all the good music he has released, I hear he has left the country even.

People like Gravity have no right to tell Chameleone what to do and what not. He should stick to music and leave politics alone. If he’s really talented in football, why is he not on the national team?” he said.

Rwamiti strongly affirmed that he will contest again in 2026, though he didn’t say whether he will be under any party or where he’ll contesting for.

There’s a feud going on between him and Dembe FM presenter Jenkins Mukasa, who mocked Rwamiti for losing terribly in the election, likening his votes to the Airtel Pakalast code, *149#.????

Rwamiti retaliated by daring Jenkins to prove he’s a qualified journalist and told him to work on his weight. “I’m betting my money, let Jenkins Mukasa show the public his academic qualifications for journalism.

He should instead concentrate on his poor eating habits and go to the gym to reduce on his terrible weight.” Seems we’re in for a rollercoaster of words.
