* Washington demands concessions from the Netanyahu administration as it's plans are said to lack detail and commitment.
The U.S top diplomat Antony Blinken travelled to the Middle East on Friday to seek concession from the Israeli officials in a bid to avert a wider regional conflict as well as lower regional tensions. The U.S has been a strong ally and partner to the Jewish nation ever since the on set of the war with the Hamas more three months ago. Now Israel struggles to contain a growing frustration in Washington with a run-up in a series of meetings with the U.S top diplomat meant to offer a number of policy proposals which many critics have judged as lacking commitment.
As Blinken prepares to meet Netanyahu, the former is to concentrate more on forcing the latter to allow more aid into the Gaza region, protect civilians and rein out the far-right ministers who have called for the resettlement of Palestinians a move the U.S has termed as inflammatory and irresponsible. Netanyahu has also angered the United States by refusing to engage in any constructive talks with the U.S over the governship of Gaza should the Israel offensive come to and end with lsrael rejecting the proposals put across by the Americans.
The U.S has been pushing lsrael to shift to lower intensity fighting which only targets the Hamas which took over the territory in 2007 saying that lsrael was losing internatonal support due to its indiscriminate bombing that has claimed the lives of more than 22,440 Palestinians with more than two thirds being women and children according to a Palestinian run health ministry in the region with thousands more said to be buried under rubbles and tens of thousands wounded. Another concern had by U.S are the relentless comments by the Israeli ministers arging Palestinians to leave the Gaza which has angered the U.S which has held Netanyahu responsible for these statements terming them as reckless.
