The judiciary has been put in the spotlight this week after it was revealed that it spent over 1.2 billion shillings on the election petition case.
This was the case Robert Kyangulanyi brought to the courts but was soon withdrawn because of bias from some of the judges.
The judiciary says it spent this money buying a tent, stationary, hiring security for the judges and fuelling cars.
All the above do not even amount to 40 million but somehow the judiciary managed to spend 1.2 billion of taxpayers money.
Corruption seems to be eating up the roots of all the organs of the government including the one organ supposed to try those that are guilty of corruption.
The judiciary spokesperson is yet to respond to this new revelation that has angered many Ugandans that toil to make sure they pay their taxes.
