Elon Musk, a South African born tech mogul who is now a millionaire has made himself a champion of free speech. However, he has been known for always dipping his feet into politics every now and then with Comments on X.
It seems like Elon Musk met his perfect match in Julius Malema, who happens to be a huge critic of white Privileges. Julius Malema who also happens to be the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has always been fighting tooth and nail to ensure there is no white supremacy.
Malema is well known for his advocacy of the black people being on the same scale with the white people and for this, he is not ready to rest his weapons.
Well recently, Elon Musk came out and stated that immediate sanctions need to be put on Malema and he should be considered an International Criminal. Musk based this on the fact that Malema keeps making political remarks on X. He deemed these remarks from Malema harmful towards the white people in South Africa.
“Immediate sanctions for Malema and declaration of him as an international criminal,” Musk wrote on his X platform
Malema seems unwilling to sit back and take all this hence he has come out with a sharp response to Elon Musk. According to Malema, Musk's statement carried a lot of ignorance and racism, the same things he is fighting hard to eradicate!
He therefore has called Elon Musk a spoiled brat who happens to be a direct beneficiary of the Apartheid policy. Malema also has labeled Musk as a racist, stating that all black people look the same to him.
“I really think you have entirely lost your left brain. Your just a typical spoiled brat and direct beneficiary of Apartheid whiteness. I know black people look the same to you, typical racist. Look closer, and you will realise those are two different people,” Malema posted on X
Malema therefore has vowed to keep pointing his guns at everyone who dares to be racist without any fear. He mentioned that he is not afraid of USA and their so called sanctions and he will never stop fighting for Black people to be equal to the white people.
“I don’t care about your sanctions because I will never stop fighting for black people to be equal to white people, and if that makes me an international criminal, I am proud to be one.” he posted
It is no secret that there happen to be political tensions in South Africa as racial and economic disparities remain a big issue in the Country but for many, Malema seems to be the symbol of hope.
