At a time when doors to concert venues are still slammed shut, Kenneth Mugabi has been enjoying a couple of performances and is set to perform for revelers at Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa.
It is understood that Mugabi was booked by local Tour and Travel Company Travel Maniacs to perform at an event dubbed ‘Camp with Kenneth Mugabi’.
According to Baker Masheta the organizer and the proprietor of Travel Maniacs, Mugabi will be performing to revelers at a Camp fire in a fully an acoustic experience in the wild.
Dorothy Nabunjo who manages Mugabi explained that at a time when venues are closed, musicians should tap into the tourism industry and she emphasized that her client will be carrying out more performances of a similar kind.
“We are getting innovative every day, and we are delighted to announce that Mugabi will be available to perform at more Tourism driven events in a bid to bridge the gap between art and tourism in Uganda” she explained.
Nabunjo also revealed that the artist has just released a new Christmas song dubbed ‘Ssekukulu’ which is already on YouTube.
