Singer King Saha has come out to announce that he is tired of patiently waiting to claim the position that is so rightfully his. The position in question is the UMA presidency which has been eyed by various musicians like Cindy Sanyu, the incumbent who still wants to have a grip of the throne, King Saha and his long term rival Bebe Cool whom he has been at logger heads with even currently.
Saha, impatiently demanding movement on the election date, says he is fed up with the slow and unprogressive process of electing a new president. He is thus demanding action so he can move on to doing other things in his life. The elections were organised earlier on at the beginning of the year. When this happened, Saha himself came out and demanded they be halted as there were cases of rigging coming to his notice.
Through his lawyers, he achieved this and the election were halted. Saha is now apparently growing impatient with the delay in the election so he has decided that he is to take matters into his own hands.
Saha forthrightly declared that he has goals to accomplish, and these goals are time-bound. He mentioned therefore that he is running out of time and the goals he wishes to acquire may end up in expiration. He mentioned that for this specific major reason, he cannot wait for the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development, Uganda National Cultural Forum (UNCC), and the “policy board” to decide the voting date.
King Saha made a polite demand that the voting date be declared now or there will be no election in view of the fact that he will be declaring himself the UMA alpha, and everyone will have to bow to his presidency and start implementing his broad vision and abiding by his will.
“I am going to announce the day I will be swearing in. I am the president-elect. I have no more time to waste,” Saha stated.
