City Lawyer Male Mabirizi's long walk to winning a court case has yet been made longer, as Law Development Centre announced that it agrees with the verdict of Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) about the case that Mabirizi filed, challenging NUP party leader Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert's academic credentials.
Mabirizi had filed a case with the Law Development Centre court in September 2021, claiming Kyagulanyi had not met the right qualifications for his Diploma in MDD which he was given at Makerere University in 2002 on Mature Entry.
The case had been undergoing different twists and turns asince then, until the 7th of October last year when the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) took over the case until now.
The move by LDC court to stop taking part in the case and siding with the DPP's verdicts only means that Kyagulanyi's academic papers still stand, and like most of his previous pursuits, Male Mabirizi comes out of this one too as a loser.
