Presidential candidates Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (NUP) and Patrick Oboi Amuriat (FDC) have not appeared before the electoral commission today as earlier on summoned.
The two were called about allegations that they're holding campaigns in areas that are not allowed which exposes Ugandans to risks of getting Covid-19.
Kyagulanyi was represented by NUP vice chairperson Buganda region Mathias Mpuuga. EC spokesperson Paul Bukenya said Kyagulanyi is supposed to avail himself tomorrow while Amuriat is expected to come on Wednesday.
The FDC party representative however said the summons are indirectly hindering their candidate's campaigns, who is currently in Karamoja regions.
