Levixone went on to ask for evidence that he indeed copied the song from anyone else, citing that he could also present evidence that he made the song himself.

Five days ago, gospel Musician Levixone wowed his fans yet again with a brand new hit dubbed “Hallelujah".

This song was welcomed and has since been one of the songs that are loved by gospel fans all over Uganda. You can imagine the shock of netizens when they heard later on that this song was apparently not originally Levixone's but rather it was copied.

Laneck came out with the accusation that Levixone never has his own original songs and every song he does is copied. According to Laneck, he has carried out research multiple times and has discovered that Levixone has a knack for copying songs without even changing a thing.

He stated that he is a good friend who is looking out for Levixone’s  career and this is why he is coming out to tell him off about this terrible habit.

    Levi

“Levixone we as Ugandans are tired of listening to you copy songs. It seems like you bought a washing machine you just rinse songs over and make them yours. Or maybe did you purchase a photocopier because every song you release is just copied. “ He stated

Laneck added that Gospel music is music that comes from heaven and God chooses his gospel musicians. This is when he prompted Levixone and asked whether God was out of song ideas for him to copy World music.

“Gospel music is music downloaded from Heaven. Are you telling me that God is tired and he is no longer sending  music ideas from above? Is that why your resorting to cheap copying methods?” he asked Levixone

During an interview with Sanyuka TV however, Levixone came out to state that he has never copied his music from anywhere. According to Levixone, he knows the entire process he went through while making and producing the Hallelujah song so he does not expect anyone to say he did not make the song himself.

Levixone went on to ask for evidence that he indeed copied the song from anyone else, citing that he could also present evidence that he made the song himself.

“I did not copy my song from anywhere. I just went and did my song. The person that told you I copied the song should come to you with evidence that I copied. They should present the song I copied from. I can also present my evidence of the making of the song to you. “ he stated

Levixone stated however that he does not want to air the evidence because he does not want to pull anyone down but if necessary, he can present the evidence.

    Levi

“I never want to put people down. God never created a failure. I don’t have an issue with Laneck. He is not my problem so he can do whatever he wants. His manners are between him and God, not me.” Said Levixone.
