"Genda Oggule Emotoka" hit maker, Lil Pazo is severely sick and is currently battling advanced ulcers.
This sickness started in Gulu where he had gone to attend the infamous Saleh musicians meeting as the spokesperson of the Uganda Superstar Musicians Association.
During the meeting on that fateful Saturday, Pazo got out to ease himself and after a few minutes, he did not return to the meeting.
Abdul Mulaasi also a musician who was sitting near him on noticing his absence, went outside to check if everything was fine only to find Lil Pazo in a nearby garden, crying while feeling a lot of pain in his abdomen.
Not knowing how to respond, Abdul together with other musicians carried Lil Pazo to a waiting ambulance that was called by General Saleh who was charing the meeting and this is how the musician sought first medical care at Gulu military hospital.
While at the hospital, medics carried out scans on his abdomen in which they discovered holes in his intestines and immediately took him to the theatre for an operation.
From the operation, the pain slightly reduced but was still there and this is when his wife asked the public to help her husband financially because of the large unpaid medical bills that were accumulating.
Lil Pazo is transferred to Kampala
After a lot of support from the public and fellow musicians, Pazo was transfered to a much better health facility, Nakasero Hospital which singer Jose Chameleone confirmed on Friday.
It is from there that the musician got more body scans to obtain the extent of damage of his body organs due to ulcers and it was confirmed that some food poisoning led his already existing ulcer condition to worsen.
Lil Pazo is also reported to have gotten better after the specialised treatment at Nakasero hospital in Kampala, however there was bad news again.
The musician was transferred again to another hospital forcefully against the will of his 8-month pregnant wife.
He was taken to Bombo military hospital to complete the rest of his treatment there and it is where Pastor Wilson Bugembe who went to visit and pray for him, found him today.
Battle of contributions
With "Save Lil Pazo" posters everywhere, there has been finger-pointing among different people about who is contributing towards the ailing singer.
There was a small battle between promoter Balaam and musician Bobi Wine where the former accused the latter of being cold-hearted. Balaam accused Bobi of being cold-hearted and negligent towards lil Pazo's treatment considering the fact that Pazo supported him a lot in last year's presidential elections.
The battle which did not last even 2 days ended when both Balaam and Bobi Wine contributing 1 and 2 million shillings respectively.
Bobi Wine who has always been super quiet in such issues, sent his representative, Dax Vibes to officially handover the money to Lil Pazo in the military hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
