Leader of Opposition and Nyendo Mukungwe Member of Parliament Hon. Mathias Mpuuga during the parliament sitting today expressed his disappointment towards the government and parliament for neglecting fellow MP Ssegirinya Muhammad.
We've been writing about Ssegirinya and his health condition since he was re-arrested and taken to Luzira prison for charges of being behid Maska Murders, the Kawempe North MP's health has since been detoriorating and currently being treated in Mulago hospital.
"The government has totally done nothing towards the health status of Hon. Ssegirinya. I'm here to inform the floor and the speaker to do something to save his life." said Hon. Mpuuga. About a week back, the speaker of parliament Hon. Jacob Oulanyah informed the August House that the parliament was going to do anything to save Ssegirinya's life.
TPrime Minister Hon. Robbinah Nabbanja who was present during the session had this to say; Like how we've been informed that Hon. Ssegirinya has a personal doctor, I'm suggesting that me, the speaker and the leader of opposition go and pay him a visit to see what we can do."
Maybe we should expect a positive feedback from the visit to Mulago, because we need some updates on the health of 'Mr. Updates."
