Makerere University Business School has today postponed it's examinations and closed it's doors.
Physical classes have been cancelled and all school business is to happen online.
MUBS, a sister school to Makerere University made this decision after an increase of COVID-19 cases in the university.
Makerere University has not yet announced it's close and many students at Makerere expect to do exams as planned.
These exams were to start on the 9th of June 2021.
MUBS is the second university to suspend physical classes after Kyamboggo university closed it's doors last month.
Kyamboggo university recorded ten cases and closed in fear of an increase in cases.
According to ministry of health, over 1000 students and have gotten sick in the past weeks.
So far, two students have died from COVID-19.
The president is expected to speak on Sunday and more information on schools will be announced then.
Last year, schools were closed in March and opened seven months later in November.
This decision has brought mixed reactions from students as many who struggle to find tuition simply want to finish.
Those that weren't fully prepared for the exams are happy and hope to prepare in the remaining time.
