Makerere University Business School (MUBS), an affiliate institution based in Nakawa, will hold its graduation on Wednesday and Thursday at the Makerere main campus. This year, MUBS students have been allocated two days, an increase from the usual one, due to the rising number of graduates from the institution. A total of 5,570 students from MUBS will graduate in various business-related programs.
The ceremony will conclude on Friday with students from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES), Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), and Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS) receiving their awards.
Prof. Mukadasi emphasized the need for order and security during the event. Each graduand is allowed to invite only two guests, and their names must be submitted in advance for verification. Invitation cards will be issued accordingly.
To ensure a smooth and safe ceremony, strict regulations will be enforced. Prohibited items include alcohol, dangerous weapons, canned food and drinks, cameras, large bags, bottled drinks, firearms, pocket radios, batteries, and chemicals. Graduands and their guests are advised to adhere to these guidelines to avoid disruptions.
