Media personality Solomon Kaweesa has also come out to take a jab at famous singer Spice Diana. It seems like Spice Diana has been trending but for all the wrong reasons in these past few days. Recently, she was all over the news for being harsh to a dancer and video vixen, Ritah Dancehall who took to her socials to criticize Spice Diana’s recently concluded concert.
According to Dancehall, the concert was very lacking and it did not deserve the attention it got. Spice decided to sue her and in the end, Ritah claimed that Spice Diana together with her manager Roger were threatening her life and she was afraid she would die by their hands. As events unfolded, Ritah was arrested for defamation and failure to raise the compensation money of 100Million UGX as demanded by Spice.
The pair reconciled and forgave each other but the public is not ready to let this issue go.
During a media interview, Kaweesa said Spice Diana should be fair because up until now, she is still having pending issues with the law after a whole human being died inside her home yet she has the guts to go around arresting people for saying a few words.
He went ahead to mention that the family of the deceased has never got justice nor compensation. He mentioned that Spice gives out money, claiming it is charity yet she never even gave the family of the gentleman that died any condolences. He therefore said Spice has no right to attack those that criticize her.
"Up to now there is still an allegation about a person who died from your home. That family has never got justice. we've never heard that you went to the family of the deceased and commiserate with them. On that money you give out, claiming that you're doing charity, I don't even know if she gave condolence money... if you didn't even give that, why do you feel that you can't be criticized and you think you have the right to harass those who criticise you? “said Kaweesa.
Asked if he isn't worried about backlash or any threats to his life from Spice Diana and her manager, Kaweesa said he is safe because he is not a performer and there are no chances that he won’t be denied chance to perform at their concerts. He mentioned that the industry will collapse if such evil deeds continue to get covered up by the media and other artistes all in the name of peace keeping.
"The good thing, I'm not a performer that they will refuse to invite me to perform at their concerts... we should stop covering up these things. if we keep doing that, it will ruin the music industry and we start seeing musicians killing each other as we've seen in America. Is that what we want for our industry? we wake up one day and a musician has been killed while driving on the road; We think it's an accident yet it's beef? We wouldn't want that." He said firmly
