MoH, UCC and EeZzy agree to make Tumbiza Sound remix
    • December 29, 2020 • 4 years ago

At the end of last week, we released an article where Isaac Opoka alias EeZzy was summoned by UCC to answer questions regarding his Tumbiza Sound.

The artist's song had been reported by the ministry of health and a request was made for it to be banned from playing on airwaves because according to them, its message was against the Covid-19 regulations.

In the letter sent to EeZzy, he was to avail himself to the commission today 29th/12/2020 at 12pm, which he did, accompanied by his team of three people.

After the meeting, it was announced that the three parties, EeZzy, MoH and UCC had agreed on a remake of the now trending song and the costs were to be incurred by the ministry.

Some of the conditions given to EeZzy are that the message in the remake should be advising people to adhere to the Covid-19 rules and that before its production, the song should be sent to the ministry for scrutiny of the lyrics.

The song is expected to be out in two weeks time. It's at this point we post a question, if you were the artist, how much would you charge for the remake?
