Musician Mudra D'viral has always been one person who hates musicians he pens songs for and they later turn their backs against him, not appreciating his efforts.
He recently came out during an interview with Sanyuka TV, stating that many musicians were quite ungrateful people because even when someone pens a song down for them, they either do not pay this person well, or they keep arguing that they penned the songs down themselves. According to him, he takes time to craft his music and he wishes that musicians recognize song writers a little more than they currently do.
Mudra stated that he is far sighted and he does not do music to earn small money so he cares more about the royalties he can collect from a song rather than the small money he would get paid for a particular project.
After Mudra signed Carol Sky under his management, everything seemed to be flowing smoothly for the pair. Keep in mind that he signed her two months ago and even featured her on his song dubbed ‘koona', which turned into an instant hit the moment it was released.
Mudra however seems angered by the fact that Carol Sky came out during an interview and gave credit to someone else for a song that Mudra wrote for her. This has left Mudra deeply angered to an extent that he has come out to lash at her, calling her stupid for her choices.
“I have seen your interview Carol Sky. You are saying someone else wrote the song I took time to craft with my own brain. How is it that Sam wrote that song if he did not even include his name as the song writer? You are stupid but I didn’t expect you to be that stupid” Mudra stated
Mudra has stated that he is not one to search for fame and he does not certainly want to be looked at as the best song writer of the century but he likes to take his well deserved credit if he has worked on a project for an artiste.
“Its not that I want to be recognized for writing so many hit songs in the Ugandan music industry. The thing is, I like to get my well deserved credit because I have worked for it. If I wrote the song, why would you credit someone else?” he bitterly stated.
Mudra therefore threatened Carol Sky that he is going to take down the song that he wrote for her and yet she chose to give credit to someone else.
“I will now teach you a lesson. I am going to put that song down. You keep saying someone else wrote that song. You will see. I have warned you.” Mudra stated.
