Celebrated Ugandan dancehall singer Alfa Sebunya, commonly known by his stage name as Mudra D.Viral has finally come out to clear the air about the allegations of dumping rising female Ava peace for TikTok sensation Winnie Wa Mummy.
It should be recalled that a few days ago, Mudra took to his Instagram page and posted :
"The incoming La voice queen. Saawa yonna [anytime] but before that. What stage name could u give @winnie.wa.mummy as a musician?"
That was a caption that accompanied Winnie wa Mummy who has amassed hundreds of thousands of social media followers because of her dance videos. She is also a beautiful young girl.
The Dream City Empire singer went ahead and shared some video clips in which he is grooving to his old songs with the TikTok star, Winnie.
This created mixed reactions from netizens with many speculating that the Muyayu hit maker is having a special connection with Winnie that goes beyond studio sessions.
However in his most recent media interview, Mudra was asked to let his fans know whether his current relationship with Winnie includes holding bonking sessions or it is only about music business.
In his response , Mudra said:
"Winnie wa Mummy is a content creator that has the potential to sing; people will be shocked."
Important to note is that Mudra , has made stars before. He helped Ava Peace break out as a singer when he penned Shabada which they sang together.
The song was produced by Don at Axtra Nation and the visuals were shot by Grate Make Films.He had promised to write her a hit song after graduating from Makerere University where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences.
Before Ava Peace, there was Karole Kasita for whom he penned ‘Yaka’, her breakout song. He also wrote her popular tagline “maximum to the world”, which started with the hit jam ‘Balance’ and later featured in some of her other songs.
Commercially, Mudra has released songs like Bwotyo, Bar love, Boss ft Cindy, Nkuwulira ft Karole Kasiita, Onzinya and many others.
On how he started writing, Mudra says he was approached by his friend Otterz to write a song for Karole Kasiita and the rest is history.
During the interview, when Mudra was asked if he was replacing Ava Peace with Winnie wa Mummy, he said no.
In a separate interview, the beautiful and talented Ava peace was questioned why she can't date Muslims yet he has been suspected to be romantically involved with Mudra.
"Musiramu [Mudra] is my friend. We've come from far. Even if something happens between us we always mend ties .Such happens in relationships," she said.
She maintained never being romantically involved with him.
