Renowned Ugandan musician Azawi has been single for the longest time we have known her. According to Azawi, she was choosing to stay away from relationships because she felt like she was going to be destructed from her music career if she decided to go into relationships as early as now.
Azawi also stated that she was married to her music career and she could bot risk getting her heart broken because it had happened to her before and she did not want the same thing to happen to her again.

Surprisingly however, Azawi has come out and publicly acknowledged that she is currently in her romantic era hence putting an end to the persistent speculation surrounding her marital status.
Azawi shared the details of her newfound love during an appearance on Galaxy TV’s ‘The Deep Talk’ show With Mr. Henrie as the host. Azawi revealed that she is currently in a relationship with someone who is residing outside Uganda.
“Yeah, I’m trying out something with someone. But he is not in Uganda; he is abroad.“ she stated.
She further mentioned that the said man is very comfortable with her career and he accepted her for who she is and even when other men try to hit on her, he is not bothered because he is aware that he is he one she is faithful to.
Azawi further stated that she is not one to play around with men but rather, she is very faithful hence he has nothing to worry about when it comes to her faithfulness.
“I am not that person who is a player. One man at a time,” she said.
