Tension has grown in the Kamwaokya based offices of the National Unity Platform, commonly known as NUP as the army and police sealed off the premises and started searching. No clear reasons have been given as to why the army ambushed the offices but rumor has it that they're working on orders of the government in line with designating the famous red beret as an official military clothing.
While all this happened, the party officials were holding a meeting with its coordinators in preparations for the national campaigns and opening of regional offices. Currently most roads leading to the offices have been blocked by police as tension keeps growing.
