    No More Dubai for Ugandans
    • June 10, 2021 • 4 years ago

The United Arab Emirates in the middle East through their National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced a ban on flights from Uganda starting 11th June 2021.

This was done in order to control the spread of the Corona Virus in the middle East Country after Uganda was cited as a high risk nation as of June 2021.

Definitely, a lot of Ugandans use this route and the UAE must have collected data of their own that indicated many Ugandans to be positive from Covid-19.

Things became worse for us when president Museveni himself locked the country down citing an increase in the daily infection rates as recorded by the Ministry of health. So this should have made the UAE speculations worse hence putting a ban on the East African nation.

    Is it only Uganda?

As it is a norm in Uganda, people do not like being alone when it comes to problems ???? , it's a Ugandan thing.

For example, a Ugandan cannot be happy when his power goes off at night only to open the window to check outside and see the neighbour's lights on.

Thy shall not allow the neighbours to be in light when am in darkness

So worry Not people of Uganda!

You're not alone in this. DR Congo and Zambia were the other two countries banned from sending flights to UAE effective 11th June 2021.
