No more confiscating traders' merchandise - Min. Kabanda
    • August 23, 2021 • 4 years ago

Earlier today Minister for Kampala, Hon. Minsa Kabanda has ordered Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) officials to stop confiscating goods of roadside vendors with immediate effect.

Minister Kabanda stated that the action is aimed at saving vendors' goods that tend to get lost the moment they reach the KCCA offices.

The news was greatly recieved by many roadside venders in Kampala, who expressed how they have always lost their goods and also attained severe injuries while trying to rescue their merchandise.

What's your take on the move by the minister? Is it a good move? What happened to eradicating roadside members from the city centre?
