Government Spokesperson Ofwono Opondo has come out to respond to National Unity Platform (NUP) and its refusal to join The Interparty Organisation for Dialogue (IPOD)
Aout a week ago, the Kamwokya based party spokesperson and Nakawa West MP Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi came out to liken IPOD to a school that has been in existance for a long time with no excellenet grades and expects him (Ssenyonyi) to take there his child.
In his response, Government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo had this to say; "The colour of the cat doesn't matter, but its ability to catch the mice. Uganda's politics is catching up mice. There is progress. Even when they boycott, we will not be shaken."
Like they always say, "politics is a game of words and numbers," this seems to be an interesting verbal exchange between the two political powerhouses.
