Furious as she was , popular singer Rema Namakula yesterday sent a warning to her fans about two young boys that were making money off her name for a period of a whole year.
After receiving complaints from some of her fans that were being extorted from , she took a step ahead by engaging the cyber police which is in charge of online crimes to get these malicious boys. The two boys were discovered to both be students of Old Kampala Secondary School , one is aged 16 and another 17. They were using mobile numbers under the names Joel Kamoga and Ismail Ziwa.
The two boys had cards and a stamp all with the musician's names and were busy conning some of her fans with a Rema appearance for introductions and weddings plus promising upcoming artitses collabos with Rema through their fake social media accounts. They are in normal terms supposed to be called conmen but Rema decided call them conboys.
At viba , we would advise that if there is anyone interested in having Rema perform at their event, they should go through the official contacts that are available on her verified social media accounts.
