Final examinations for senior four students started yesterday on Tuesday 2nd March.
However most heads of these schools have reported a low turn out.
" Only 80 students out of the 200 reported to do the examination. Most of them have done these exams without paying full school fees. We cannot refuse the few we have from doing exams because of this. " one headmaster reported.
Some of these students are doing papers while pregnant.
The Ministry of education has not said anything concerning the issues of the high number of dropouts in Uganda or what plan they have in mind for them.
It is also being reported some candidates did not sit the papers because their schools were sold off to pay loans their owners owed to the bank.
