Earlier today, newly appointed Prime minister of Uganda, Hon Robbinah Nabbanja attended mass at the residence of Archbishop Steven Kazimba Mugalu in Namirembe.
The mass had very few attendees, as directed by the president in line to observe social distance. While giving her remarks, Hon Nabbanja thanked the clergy for keeping people connected to God in these trying moments.
She also donated sh. 50m to the church, as this is to help on the sh. 60bn debt the church owes to Equity bank. Hon Nabbanja said this is part of her first salary as the new prime minister. And what better way to give back to the Lord?
This comes at a time when the church had issued a campaign, targeting about a 6million anglicans, each contributing around 60,000 Ugshs, as the would help clean the debt. While y'all start calculating the Prime minister's salary, have you contributed towards saving God's house?
